The Pantry List began with a simple yet compelling idea: to unite the vibrant heritage of Persian dried fruits and nuts with the familiar ease of American snacking. What started as a personal discovery quickly became a passion and boutique business.
Reza, my partner, introduced me to the richness of Persian culinary tradition — visits to local Persian markets brought home an array of colorful, aromatic ingredients unlike anything I’d grown up with in Oklahoma. Each bite was a revelation, full of character, history, and nuance. I was captivated.
As our careers kept us moving — whether filming for Bravo!, navigating real estate, or editing television shows — we struggled to find snacks that offered both delight and sustenance. I began taking Reza’s Persian selections to the office, and soon after, started composing my own blends by adding pretzels, chocolate morsels, and other American favorites. The result was a fusion of cultures and flavors: a balance of tradition, indulgence, and modern convenience.
The Pantry List was born from that fusion.
